1. Limit the number of slides. You should have between 8 to 10 slides. Plan your slide layout and organize your information.
2. You are welcome to show pictures and graphs in the presentation. Make sure you cite your outside sources at the bottom of the slide (not at the end).
3. You can either record your PowerPoint presentation using slideshow record function or use the “Notes” section in PowerPoint to type out the scripts you would say for each corresponding slide. Here is also a link showing you how to use PowerPoint to record:
4. The narration should be clear and coherent. Do not just read each slide but have extra added information to present in your narration. The notes should also include the extra information.
5. Use the rubric attached to this assignment to construct your presentation. Make sure you do not treat each slide as a Q&A session. The presentation has to flow from slide to slide.
6. I added some tips to help you create your presentation and expect you to use them when preparing your slides. You can find the page in the module section, and it is also linked here, titled “Tips to Create a PowerPoint Presentation“.
